Dreamkids Healthy Habit Attack - Years 5-9

This fun new self directed program exposes students to healthy lifestyle concepts through the exploration of physical activity, sun safety and healthy eating while at WhiteWater World or Dreamworld. Students study the concepts and propose initiatives that could be implemented to promote healthy and balanced lifestyle choices for guests.

Math

Mathematics B - Year 11-12

This program is designed to motivate and excite students by taking a hands-on approach to learning Mathematics. Mathematics B students will discover how to model sections of the Super Tubes HydroCoaster track using mathematical functions, create a model to predict how high a raft will go in The Green Room, investigate periodic functions in the Cave of Waves, discover average and instantaneous rates of change in the Blue Ringed Octopus, and create a mathematical model for how long it takes riders to get sucked into The Rip! Learning Mathematics has never been so rewarding!

Science

Science - Years 6-10

Revolutionising the water park experience, WhiteWater World offers students a world of science exploration! Students will learn about energy changes as they race through the Super Tubes HydroCoaster, discover the ultimate in scientific innovations in the Cave of Waves, put a new spin on speed in the Blue Ringed Octopus and discover how force and acceleration create thrills in The Rip. Targeting years 6 – 10 this program incorporates all 5 of the key strands in the Science Key Learning Area.
